‘Dear You’ The Love Letter Series
Dear You,
Do you remember the exact moment you fell in love? I’ve come to realize it’s never just one moment but a million little ones strung together.
No combination of letters, symbols, or numbers could ever fully capture what I feel for you — but I’ll try anyway, even knowing words will always be insufficient and will ABSOLUTELY fall short.
I’ve always believed a woman inspires her man or partner to be better. By that definition, you’re ten times the woman anyone could dream of — but so much more than that, you’re my woman, and that changes everything.
One of the first moments I knew I felt something deep and unshakable for you was the day we had a picnic in the park. It was a cool summer afternoon. We’d walked from London Bridge to Borough and stumbled upon that public garden in front of the new builds. We sat on the grass, eating strawberries and washing them down with mango juice — a combination one of your friends had introduced you to.
I’ll never forget that moment. As I spoke about purpose, you looked up at me. For at least six seconds (yes, I counted), your eyes locked on me. I pretended not to notice, but I felt it — your gaze piercing through me, seeing me, recognizing me in a way no one ever had. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. In that moment, you didn’t just look through mine — you climbed inside and embraced it.
I love you in ways that defy explanation, in ways that know no bounds. This love spills over, filling me completely, every single day. With you, love isn’t just a noun or a verb — it’s who I am.
Yours always,
Me.
